Here it is, March 3, 2014, but to look outside this morning, you’d swear we are in the middle January since this whole area is blanketed with snow. Of course, the kids are happy since school has once again been canceled, but finding things for them to do all day can prove to be a real challenge, especially if you have to brave the snow to go to work, but here are a few ideas.
· Paint with pudding or jello – This can be messy, but so much fun.
· Make some easy no-bake cookies.
· Make a collage on poster board – any subject of their choice (animals, favorite foods, etc.)
· Or… They could always clean their room, but what fun is that?
Once the snow is gone, it will be time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and then Easter, about a month later.
No matter the occasion, we would love to help you with all of your holiday cookie needs. Whether you want some whimsical shamrocks for St. Paddy’s day or a whole garden of brightly decorated Easter cookies, give us a call or come by the store and we will help.
Until next week, stay warm, dry and try to enjoy this (hopefully) last now of the season.
